Position: Kitchen Porter
Reporting to: Head Chef / Sous Chef
General Scope of Job:
To maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and also adhere to the health and safety policy as set by the company.
Main Duties and Areas of Accountability
1. The cleaning of all cutlery, crockery and pans etc at all meal times.
2. To keep all equipment, ovens and fridges cleaned on a daily basis.
3. The cleaning of all floor areas daily.
4. To maintain bin/rubbish areas, cleaning them after each collection.
5. To follow company health, safety, hygiene and fire regulations
6. Removal of all rubbish to outside bins at the end of service.
7. Report any faults to equipment or other items to the Head Chef.
