Develop Activity Programmes; To spend time working with residents on programming activities, events and outings which will encourage residents to participate so that they remain emotionally and intellectually stimulated. Depending on the number of residents, along with their wishes it may be necessary to create several activities per week, all of which to be created, planned, organised and implemented. Working closely with the Home Manager, ensure that all the required staff, volunteers and materials are available for each of the activities.
The Activity Coordinator will be responsible for all programs at the Care Home or they may work with other coordinators in other organisations.
They will also oversee any volunteers working within activities and events.
Although the position is full time part time applicants will be considered.
