Our Brasserie style restaurant is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to become part of our kitchen team. Duties will include developing and learning new recipes, daily preparation and presentation of food and ensuring the kitchen is kept hygienically clean.
you would of obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation, should have good knowledge of HAACP and be able to maintain an excellent standard of food safety within the department.
Qualifications and Experience
Cookery qualifications to NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent and basic food hygiene (CIEH Level 2) are essential.
Previous Chef de Partie experience and a solid work history – at least 2 years within a large 4/5* Hotel or 2/3 + rosette restaurant to Chef de Partie level – are essential requirements. You must be able to run a section on your own, with the ability to supervise others.
