We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to help lead and become part of our kitchen team.
Duties will include developing the pastry offering and learning / training with new recipes, daily preparation and presentation of food and ensuring the kitchen is kept hygienically clean.
Qualifications and Experience
Cookery qualifications to NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent and foundation food hygiene (CIEH Level 2) are essential (CIEH Level 3) desirable.
Have a good knowledge of HAACP and be able to maintain an excellent standard of food safety within the department
Previous similar experience and a solid work history – at least 2 years within a 4/5* Hotel or 2/3+ rosette restaurant to Sous Chef level - are essential requirements.
This position requires a good level of English, good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
