Pathology Manager

Jersey operates an independent pathology laboratory based at the general hospital. The services comprise blood sciences, infection and molecular sciences, and tissue sciences. The activity is in the region of one million tests per year. We are seeking an experienced pathology manager who can establish a clear strategic direction for pathology services, for the benefit of clinical users and patients across the island. The role exists within a small efficient health and social care economy for a population of 110 thousand and has a high degree of autonomy and self-direction. There is a general hospital with 200 beds and there are twelve GP practices.
