This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with previous supervisory or managerial catering experience who is also a ‘seasoned’ cook/chef.
This position reports to the Youth and Community Centre Committee and is responsible for managing the Tea Room providing realistically priced, healthy and tasty food and beverage to the community.
Applicants should be qualified to level 3 Food-Hygiene although you may apply if you have achieved Level 2 Food Hygiene and are prepared to complete Level 3. You should be able to demonstrate a level of professionalism and people skills required to manage a very busy operation with a flexible and dedicated kitchen team of circa 8 staff. The Tea Room is open Mon -Sat 8-3pm. Sun 8-1pm. Salaried position based on 42 hours, ensure staffing levels and deliver the required standards of catering and customer service
