An amazing opportunity for a sous chef to join the friendly team at the Ommaroo Hotel. Just across from Havre des pas lido, the Ommaroo Hotel offers unique views across the sea and has an iconic design both inside and out.
You will report to the Head Chef and work alongside the entire kitchen team. You will assist the head chef in general day to day running of a busy hotel kitchen. We are looking for a very hands on and skilled person who has traditional culinary values as well as a modern approach to working in hospitality kitchens.
Ideally the candidate is someone with Hotel kitchen background who is used to working in a busy kitchen environment, can multi-task and has experience in handling a la carte service, functions and supervising kitchen staff. The person will have a friendly personality with a positive & problem-solving attitude.
