Mental Health Support Worker

bout the Role
We are seeking a caring, proactive and committed Mental Health Support Worker to join our day team. You'll support individuals with a range of mental health needs, helping them to live safe, fulfilling, and independent lives within a residential or supported living setting.

?? Key Responsibilities
Support service users with daily routines including personal care, meal prep, medication, and activities

Encourage independence and empower individuals to work towards personal goals

Build therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and dignity

Promote and support mental and emotional well-being

Record daily notes, update care plans, and attend handovers

Assist in managing behaviours that challenge using approved strategies (if trained)

Engage clients in meaningful daytime activities both in-house and in the community
