Verger - St Brelade’s Church, Jersey
40 hours per week across 6 days, including weekends and evenings
£20,000 per annum, plus inclusive accommodation
Permanent Position

We are looking for a dedicated and practical Verger to support the spiritual and operational life of St Brelade’s Church. This hands-on role includes preparing for services and ceremonies, maintaining our beautiful historic buildings and grounds, assisting visitors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, including:
• Prepare the church for weekly services, weddings, baptisms, and funerals
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of church facilities
• Operate AV systems, manage bookings, and handle simple admin tasks

It is a genuine occupational requirement that the office holder is a practicing Christian.
