Theatre Technician

This role is a key position within the Technical Department, they will support the safe and effective delivery of all productions, events, and activities at Jersey Opera House, on the main stage, in the studio, and as part of an outreach programme. They will be involved in the setup, operation, and removal of technical systems and scenery for touring productions, house productions and community users, ensuring high production standards and safety compliance. Supporting other members of the Technical Department, guiding and overseeing Casual Technicians, along with assisting with the development of Technical Interns will be a key focus of the role.
Maintenance of lighting, sound, AV, and stage systems, is a core focus of the department when dark, scheduling tasks and ensuring stocks of parts and consumables are available in house.
