This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with catering experience who is also a ‘seasoned’ cook/chef. This position reports to the Youth and Community Centre Committee and is responsible for assisting the Tea Room Manager providing realistically priced, healthy and tasty food and beverage to the community. Applicants should be qualified to level 3 Food-Hygiene although you may apply if you have achieved Level 2 Food Hygiene and are prepared to complete Level 3. You should be able to demonstrate a level of professionalism and people skills required to cope in a very busy operation with a flexible and dedicated kitchen team which includes young members of our community. The Tea Room is open Monday to Saturday 08.00 – 15.00, with alternate Sunday opening 08.30 – 13.00 for Car Boot sales throughout the year.
