How to download your old job applications from

​​Applying for government jobs has changed

  • All government jobs have moved to our new Jersey Public Services Careers website. 

  • From the Friday 28 June 2024 you will no longer be able to access your old job applications on​

How to download your old job applications

To download your job application information:

  • log in to view or update your job applicationthis will take you to your home page and you'll see a list of your previous job applications
  • select 'list of documents' under the job title, this will open up a new page showing the list of documents for that job application
  • to open the document, select 'view link'​
  • open and save each of the documents

CV, cover letter or supporting statement

For documents that you attached to your application, such as your CV, cover letter or supporting statement:

  • select 'view link' underneath the document you would like to open
  • a ‘downloads’ pop-up box should appear in the top right of your screen
  • select 'open file'​
  • save the document

Questionnaire documents​

For questionnaire documents with limited text fields, such as your residential status questionnaire and your personal information form:

  • select 'view link' underneath the document you would like to open
  • a new screen should open with the details
  • save this as a PDF document, right select anywhere on the screen and select 'print' from the drop-down menu. A menu should appear.
  • in the ‘printer’ field, select ‘Microsoft print to PDF’ from the dropdown menu​
  • select ‘print’
  • a save pop-up box will appear. Save the document

Application questionnaire and larger text documents​

For questionnaire documents with larger text fields, such as your application questionnaire.

If you follow the steps above to ‘Print PDF’, only the text visible in the free text boxes will appear on the PDF. ​

To capture all of the text in those boxes, you need to copy and paste the information into a new document. To do this:

  • select 'view link' underneath the document you would like to open
  • select all of the information in this document by selecting CTRL + A on your keyboard
  • copy the information by selecting CTRL + C on your keyboard
  • open a new Word document
  • right click anywhere in the Word document and a dropdown menu will appear
  • select the text paste option, this the icon that has a capital A in front of a clipboard
  • this will paste all the information int​o your new document, including all of the text held in the free text boxes
  • save the document 

Repeat this process if you wish to save documents for other job applications.
