States of Jersey Police Association (SOJPA)

​​About 

The SOJPA is a staff association for all police:

  • constables
  • sergeants
  • inspectors
  • chief inspectors
  • superintendents

They represent and support police officers going through discipline issues, advise and lobby on operational policing matters where necessary and help to influence legislation.

The Committee will represent members of interest with the States Employment Board and Senior Management within the Force.

Support

Support available to members includes:

  • insurance policy with legal protection for members
  • 24/7 committee phone line for those who need urgent advice
  • Police Association "friends", an officer who can offer advice or support should you be subject to a formal complaint, internal disciplinary procedure or performance and/or attendance procedures
  • 24/7 confidential support helplines
