The Countryside Enhancement Scheme (CES) is an environmental improvement scheme which offers financial incentives to support and reward initiatives designed to look after Jersey's countryside.
This year the CES will prioritise projects linked to invasive species, environmental interpretation and education, although all other projects will be considered.

Your application must be submitted by 23 May 2019.

The scheme is open to anyone responsible for the management of land or coastal areas including:
- land managers
- Government departments

The Scheme's aims
The scheme has options designed to assist applicants in the delivery of environmental projects that:
- help maintain and improve the Island's unique and internationally significant rural character, landscape, habitats, flora and fauna
- enhances, conserves and protects Jersey's natural environment on a local scale
- implements Island-wide strategic environmental projects that will enhance biodiversity
- assists with the delivery of the Island's commitments to International Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and local environmental objectives
