Jersey Conservation Volunteers (JCV)
You can help the JCV look after the Island's wildlife and habitats.
Everyone is welcome and you don't need to book a place.
Events are subject to change but you can keep up to date by visiting the Jersey Conservation Volunteers Facebook page.
What to do and what to bring on the day
Just turn up wearing appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Bring tools and gardening gloves if you have them, but if not there are some you can borrow. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and / or waterproofs.
Work usually finishes at 12.30pm when refreshments are served.
Not only will you be giving something back to the community, you'll also have a chance to learn more about the issues facing our Island's countryside such as:
- invasive plants
- erosion
- habitat protection
- threatened species
Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
