This summer join the Beautiful Jersey campaign and make sure you have a fun summer and not a rubbish one.

Beautiful Jersey is a campaign to keep the Island free from litter

Beautiful Jersey is a litter campaign getting people to work together to make Jersey a cleaner, greener Island.

This ongoing campaign is currently focusing on rubbish on our beaches. We want you to:

• recycle your rubbish or put it in a bin
• remind the people you are with to clear up their rubbish
• encourage dog owners to get rid of dog mess responsibly
• think about some of the things you take to the beach for example glass bottles that could get broken

Beautiful Jersey is:

• raising awareness about litter and how to prevent it
• educating people about rubbish and how to dispose of it responsibly
• making it easier for people get rid of rubbish properly by working with others to make sure there are enough bins

Other ways you can get involved with the Beautiful Jersey campaign

You can:

• report any litter 'hot spots'
• encourage others to get rid of their rubbish properly
• adopt your local beach or green lane and work together with friends, neighbours and colleagues to reduce litter there
• keep your own community areas litter-free
• join an organisation who regularly organise beach cleans
