St Helier Centenier Election cancelled

In accordance with Article 23 of the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, one of the candidates has withdrawn from the election for Centeniers in the Parish of St Helier, and in the circumstances of there being two remaining candidates for two vacancies, the Royal Court ordered on Friday 8 December that the two remaining candidates be declared elected to office, to be sworn in on 15 December 2023.

Accordingly, the poll scheduled for 13 December at the Town Hall will no longer take place.
