TypeParish notice
Date published
14 September 2022

Rate Demands for 2022 were issued on 21 July 2022 and sent to all Parish of St Helier ratepayers.

Any ratepayer who has not received a rate demand should contact the Connétable immediately. By virtue of this Notice each ratepayer shall be taken to have received a demand for payment of rate and it shall not be an excuse for non-payment that it was not received.

You must pay the rate on demand even if a review or appeal application has still to be determined.

In accordance with article 27(1) of the Rates (Jersey) Law, 2005, a surcharge of 10% will be added to all amounts not paid within 3 months of the date of the bill. Therefore, any rates not paid by Friday 21 October 2022 will have the surcharge added.

If you are unable to pay your Parish Rates, then please contact the Customer Services Department at the Town Hall on 811733 immediately.
