Parish of Grouville Nomination Meeting

In accordance with the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, Article 19, a Nomination Meeting will be held at Grouville Parish Church on Tuesday 21 November 2023 at 6.30pm to:

1. Elect a Centenier to complete a term of office expiring March 2026
2. Elect a Centenier for a 3-year term of office

All Parishioners and electors of the Parish are welcome to attend.

A nomination form for each candidate must be produced to the meeting and must be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the Parish. It is strongly advised that this be verified with the Parish Customer Services Team prior to the meeting.

In each election:

• if there are more candidates than vacancies a poll will be held on Wednesday 13 December 2023
• if there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the Nomination Meeting

To vote in this election you must be registered as an elector no later than midday on Monday 20 November 2023.

In accordance with Article 20, (8) of the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, a Nomination Meeting shall not be closed less than 10 minutes after it has been opened.
