Ecclesiastical Assembly

An Ecclesiastical Assembly will be in the Parish Church, Church Street, St Helier on Wednesday 27 November at 7pm to conduct the following business:

  1. To consider and discuss the proposed sale of Norwich Union House and related cnacellation of the lease of that property presently held by Aviva Life and Pensions UK Limited.
  2. To consider and approve the terms of an additional Constitution to the Constitution of the  fidéicommis originally established by the Minute du Contact dated 4 September 1920 which fidéicommis was originally utilised to acquire Normich Union House.
  3. To authorise the present Rector and Surveillants to proceed with the sale of the property and cancellation of lease substantially in the form of the contracts approved by them as successors ex-officio  to the origial fidéicommisaires of the fidéicommis established by the Minute du Contract passed before the Royal Court on 14 September 1920.
  4. To authorise the Rector, the Surveillants, the Connétable and the Procureurs of the Parish of St. Helier acting as the Rectorat to participate in the deed of sale of Norwich Union House substantially in the terms as set out in the draft contract of sale.
