An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St. Helier will be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday 16 December 2020 at 7.30pm.

Parishioners are asked to take into consideration and, if deemed advisable:

  1. in conformity with Article 5 of the Loi (1914) sur la Voirie, to elect two Parish Roads Inspectors for the Vingtaines, de la Ville, du Rouge Bouillon and de Bas du Mont au Prêtre for a term of three years.

Please note:

In light of current Covid restrictions on gatherings, the form of the Assembly this year will be different to previous elections, in that it will be held at the Town Hall and online.

Parishioners wishing to stand for election as a Roads Inspector should contact Parish Secretary, Alison Sweeney, at a.sweeney@posh.gov.je or +44 (0) 1534 811880 by 5pm on Monday 14 December, providing their name, address and names of their proposer and seconder.

Parishioners wishing to attend the Assembly in person or online are asked to register in advance, by contacting the Parish Secretary by 5pm on Tuesday 15 December 2020.

Parishioners who are in a high-risk Covid category, or are over 70 years of age, are encouraged to join the Assembly online. Where this is not possible, we advise you to consider carefully the risks of attending the Assembly.

The Parish is utilising a Covid track and trace system for those attending the Assembly in person.

The Parish will hold this Assembly in accordance with latest government guidance www.gov.je.
