I am writing to you today to request the following information:

On average how many patients receive intravenous cancer drug therapies (includes monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) on a daily basis across all hospital chemotherapy day units in your organization / Trust?

I thank you for taking the time in dealing with my request and I look forward to your reply.

Response

On average, between January and August 2016 11.6 treatments were carried out each day within the Oncology Department of the Jersey General Hospital. This is based on a total of 1,940 treatments divided by 167 working days.  

Please note the figures include subcutaneous injections as well as IV chemotherapy as the data does not allow differentiation between the two.

The number of treatments administered within the Oncology Department between January and August 2016 are shown below:
