Employees of the States of Jersey Fire and Police services enjoy medical, dental and ophthalmic and related benefits. Do any other employees of the SoJ enjoy similar benefits? If so how many and in which departments of the states.

Response

Not all Jersey Fire and Rescue employees and States of Jersey Police Officers have access to medical, dental and ophthalmic related benefits. These provisions were removed for all future recruits as part of the agreement between the relevant associations and the employer in 2012, 2013 and 2014. 

No other employees of the States of Jersey receive similar medical benefits.
