Can I have a list of which medical practices received subsidies from the Social Security Department and what amounts went to which practice?

Response 

The Department is able to offer a partial response, addressing the first part of the request for information. 

The practices which received Medical Benefit on behalf of their patients are listed below. 

  • Castle Quay
  • Clifden House
  • Co-operative Medical Care
  • Atlantic Surgery at Como Villa
  • Seven David Place
  • Windsor Medical Practice
  • Lido Medical Practice
  • Island Medical Centre
  • Lister House Associates
  • Route Du Fort Surgery
  • Cleveland Clinic
  • Indigo House
  • Health Plus

Information about the amounts received is deemed to be commercially sensitive and is considered to be exempt under Article 33 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law.

Exemptions applied

Article 33 - Commercial interests 

Information is qualified exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes a trade secret; or

(b) its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).
