Access to Farley's Lane in the Parish of St Helier was recently changed to make it illegal to turn right into it when approaching from the west along St Aubin's Inner road.

The States of Jersey does not hold this information. Consultations and the placing of signs are the responsibility of the Parish of St.Helier. The Parish of St Helier is not currently covered by the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 however the Parish of St Helier Roads Committee Minutes are published online [see link below]. Any further information would need to be requested from the Parish of St Helier direct.

However, the Parish of St.Helier, as the Highway Authority for Farley’s Lane, made the right turn into the lane illegal on a temporary basis by issuing a notice under Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956 on 25th November 2013. This temporary restriction was incorporated into the Road Traffic (St.Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996 by Ministerial Decision on 25th November 2014.
