May I have the number of external suspensions for all state secondary schools for the academic year 2015 to 2016.
Response
The number of external suspensions in all States of Jersey secondary schools is outlined in the table below:

The data included in the table above represents the number of suspensions, regardless of the length of suspensions, and does not represent the number of children suspended.
Numbers have been independently rounded to the nearest five. Numbers less than five but not zero have been shown as less than five (<5). Disclosure control has been applied to the data in order to protect the identity of individual pupils.
Exemptions
Article 25 Personal information
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if:
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
