Costs associated with vandalism to public toilets (FOI)

Costs associated with vandalism to public toilets (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by States of Jersey and published on 31 January 2017.

Request

I would like to know how much money has been spent on maintenance of public toilets due to vandalism during the period January 2012 to end of 2016

Response

Since January 2012 to December 2016, the identified orders that specifically relate to vandalism within the 48 public toilets across the island totals to approximately £18,874

There are likely to have been other repairs undertaken, that are partially the result of damage caused in public toilets, but these are not separately identified within our reporting data and are quite often included within other pre-planned maintenance work being undertaken.
