Primary school teacher turnover (FOI)

Primary school teacher turnover (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by States of Jersey and published on 31 January 2017.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

We request data regarding the number of primary school teaching staff (teachers and teaching assistants) who have resigned their position from each of the States primary schools, for any given reason, for the academic years 2012 to 2013, 2013 to 2014, 2014 to 2015, 2015 to 2016 and 2016 to 2017 (to date), with dates of their resignation.

We do not request the names of any teacher nor the classes they were teaching as we are not looking to identify any specific teachers.

We would like this presented per primary school.

Response

Please see attached spreadsheet for details of staff turnover in all States of Jersey primary schools for the period 2009 to 2016.
