Please can you confirm the annual electricity expenditure for the States in its entirety for 2014, 2015 and 2016 (if available)?

Please can you confirm the annual dividend payment for 2014, 2015 and 2016 (if declared) from the JEC to the States of Jersey?

Annual electricity expenditure for the States as follows:

  • 2014: £7,849,584.67
  • 2015: £6,774,556.30
  • 2016: £5,369,469.81

Jersey Electricity’s financial year end is 30 September. Dividends declared for the financial year and corresponding amounts paid (and to be paid) to the States:

  • year ended 30 September 14 – £2,318,000
  • year ended 30 September 15 – £2,441,500
  • year ended 30 September 16 – £2,565,000

C

The States of Jersey pays for electricity at the standard JEC tariff rates.
