Request

Our child did not get allocated the school of our choice due to it being overprescribed. Currently awaiting an appeal. I would like to know class sizes and availability at Springfield and St Saviours primary schools.

Response

Following the appeals heard for Reception places for September 2017, as of Monday 3 April 2017 the Reception classes in Springfield and St Saviour’s schools are now fully allocated.

The Education Department will be instructing both Springfield School and St Saviour’s School to admit 29 pupils to their new Reception classes in September 2017. This is in accordance with the Education Department’s ‘Admissions to Non Fee Paying Primary School Policy’
