May I request the following?

The total funding given to each secondary school (Hautlieu, De la Salle, JCG, Victoria College, Beaulieu and all states schools).

How this funding is split up within the schools.

State Secondary Schools2017
Grainville £4,114,810.00
Haute Vallee £4,067,071.00
Le Rocquier£5,131,362.00
Les Quennevais£4,179,784.00
Hautlieu £5,479,622.00

Fee Paying Secondary Schools2017
Jersey College for Girls £2,247,201.00
Victoria College £2,089,195.00

Private Secondary Schools 2017
Beaulieu Secondary£1,872,325.00
De La Salle College Secondary  £1,585,950.00

The primary purpose of funding is to support the school in delivery of the Jersey curriculum.

Between 79% to 94% of funding given to Secondary schools is used for staff expenditure, with the remaining amounts allocated to non-staff expenditure at the Head teachers’ discretion.

We do not have this figure for Beaulieu Convent and De La Salle College.

In addition to money funded by the States of Jersey, schools also receive some income from indoor facilities hire etc.

Please note that all the data above is based on 2017 budget figures.
