Request

We are proposing to purchase a property in La Blinerie Lane, St Clement.

I would like to know if there have been any reported or investigated break-ins or attempted in that area in the last five years.

Response

There have been five reported crimes against properties in the La Blinerie, St Clement area in the past five years.

In 2013, a property was entered and electrical items were stolen. The thief was caught and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.

In 2015 two properties were the subject of burglaries and another subject to an attempted burglary. One property was in the process of being refurbished and was unoccupied. In the other two the thieves were caught and sentenced to 12 months and two years respectively.

In 2016, an outbuilding was targeted and tools were stolen, the crime remains undetected. All the above crimes took place in daylight hours.
