Can you give me the total cost of the recent enquiry conducted locally by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

This is named Operation Belfong.

Four PSNI Officers have been here, including the PSNI Chief Constable, on and off for six months.

If you are able to break down the costs eg wages, flight, accommodation and so on that would be good.

If you reveal any other inexorably related costs please include these.

Response

Costs to date are £8,766.

A breakdown of the final costs is not yet available however it is estimated that the total costs will be approximately £31,000.
