Please can you supply a statement up to the end of June 2017 for the loan repayments to the Jersey Innovation Fund which have fallen beyond the agreed repayment terms? To clarify further, the relevant figure stood at £1.4m at the end of 2016. I would like the same figure for 30 June  2017.

Response

The figure of £1.4m was the provision for doubtful loan and interest repayments recognised in the States of Jersey accounts as at 31 December 2016.

This figure remains the same as at 30 June 2017. The provision will be reviewed and formally adjusted in the coming months in preparation for the publication of the States of Jersey’s 2017 year end accounts.
