Please can we have a breakdown of the Summer 2017 mathematics 9 - 1 GCSE entries by tier of entry from Jersey Secondary Schools.

Please can this information be given in the following way: total number of students entered for a 9 - 1 GCSE in mathematics, total number of students entered for a foundation 9 - 1 GCSE in mathematics and total number of students entered for a higher 9 - 1 GCSE in mathematics.

Response

In summer 2017, a total of 732* students were entered for the new GCSE Mathematics examination. A breakdown of entries by tier is provided below;

*Six students sat both the foundation and higher papers.

This data includes all States of Jersey and fee maintained secondary schools, it does not include the private schools, Beaulieu Convent School and De la Salle College.
