Please can you disclose the number of volunteers that the States of Jersey Police have had in response to their request for volunteer car washers to clean their police cars.

Response

The States of Jersey Police have not made a request for volunteer car washers to clean police vehicles and do not intend on doing so. A recent article in the Jersey Evening Post referred to an example from another force, however the States of Jersey Police will explore different options relating to volunteering in Policing.
