The information I would like to receive is the following:

  • copies of unrealised designs (including preliminary sketches) that were made for the standard circulating 2 pounds coin of Jersey
  • copies of unrealised designs (including preliminary sketches) that were made for the series of collector’s coins issued from 2002 up until 2005 to commemorate the history of the Royal Navy
  • copies of unrealised designs (including preliminary sketches) for the collectors coin “Duke of Wellington” which was issued in 2002

Response

In accordance with the retention schedule for the Treasury and Resources Department, records relating to currency and coinage projects are destroyed after 10 years. Therefore, the States of Jersey no longer hold the information requested.
