Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by States of Jersey and published on 01 March 2018.

I am looking to find out through Freedom of Information if Jersey have a contract in place for school to home communications and electronic payments collection. Could you please tell me:

The name of the provider that is currently being used?

The contract end date?

The contact within your organisation who deals with this contract and implementing new contracts?

The Education Department has been able to collate information regarding each of the providers used by Jersey schools to communicate via school to home. Schools also use individual websites, social media, text messaging and hard copy information to communicate with parents.

The list of providers used for school-to-home communications is below:

  • ParentMail
  • SIMS in Touch
  • Doddle
  • Show My Homework
  • Parent Evening Booking System
  • SeeSaw

The list of providers used for electronic payment collection is below:

  • Joinos
  • Wisepay

The Education Department are unable to provide the end dates for any contracts as information relating to specific contracts is commercially sensitive.

The contract for SIMS in Touch is dealt with by the Education Department. All other contracts with providers are dealt with directly by schools. School contact details can be found by following the links below.
