How much money has been spent and how many bed nights have the Metrological Department employees had in Jersey during the last year.

Response

The response has been answered taking the term ‘bed nights’ to mean the occupancy of one person (assigned to one bed) for one night in hospitality accommodation i.e. (hotel / guest house).

The Department of the Environment can confirm that employees of The Jersey Met (the Meteorological Section of the Department of the Environment) have not spent any money on such accommodation during the last year as there have been no bed nights for staff in Jersey from 1 January 2017 to date.
