What are the entry requirements for a female applicant to the Fire Service?

What is the physical test and what does it entail? What are the strength and aerobic requirements etc. Is this different from the male entry?

Response

The States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service have the same entry requirements for both male and female applicants.

Exemption

Article 23(1) Information accessible to applicant by other means

Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.

Justification for exemption:
The information requested has already been published by the States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service. The information can be found at the web address provided above. The information is therefore ‘absolutely exempt information’ for the purposes of Article 9(1) of the the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 (“the Law”), falling as it does within the definition of ‘absolutely exempt information’ described in Article 23(1) of the Law. The request is refused on this basis.
