Is GST charged on any user pays services provided at the General Hospital, for example, charges for ultra-sound scans?

Response

GST is not charged on any user pays services provided at the Jersey General Hospital, because medical services supplied by the hospital are exempt supplies for GST purposes under Group 4 “Medical and paramedical supplies”, of Schedule 5 to the Goods and Services Tax (Jersey) Law, 2007.
