I would like to make the following Freedom of Information request in relation to your organisations arrangements for drone filming and stills photography.
I would like to ask the following questions:

What are your current arrangements for hiring drone pilots or services within your organisation, ie do you use freelance, agency or do you have full time staff?
B
What criteria do you employ if you use freelance services when choosing drone pilots or services?
C
What is your average spend on drone pilots per day or service request?
D
How many times have you used the service of drone pilots in 2016, 2017 and 2018 to date?
E
The name and contact information of the person or persons responsible for hiring or procuring services of drone pilots within your organisation.
Response
A
The States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service (JFRS) has its own Aerial Reconnaissance Team. As well as undertaking their own work, they have provided a service for other departments, and also operated a department owned drone.
B
One department procured drone services through a local consultant with proven experience.
C
The service provided by JFRS is not re-charged to other States departments.
The external cost to the States of Jersey is approximately £10,450.00 over a three year period.
