Response

The requested search has been attempted.

The States of Jersey utilises a cryoserver email archiving service. Access has been granted to the Freedom of Information team to the emails of the Chief Minister and Economic Development Minister.

The Freedom of Information team performed a search on the emails within the time frame specified, using the key words provided. These were applied in multiple variations to ensure all relevant results were returned.

No relevant email correspondence either sent or received by the named Ministers is held for the period requested.

It should be noted that some of the searches delivered many thousands of returns. As all States of Jersey emails contain a Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 disclaimer, a large number of entries were returned. Refining this to include the word ‘extension’ and ‘Freedom of Information’ in conjunction still returned a large number of hits. Upon review by the team, none of these emails were related to the request.

It is also noted that the wholly owned government companies named in the request cannot, in and of themselves, be utilised as either sender or recipient. Utilising these entities as keywords was attempted but generated no relevant/identifiable emails.
