When was the last time Asbestos Inspections were carried out at Les Quennevais School?

When the last time air quality was tested there?

How much money has been put aside to manage asbestos when the building is taken down?

Who/how many staff have been given asbestos awareness training?

The last asbestos inspection was carried out at Les Quennevais Secondary School on the 30 October 2018.

The air quality at the school is tested monthly.

The future use of the current Les Quennevais Secondary School site remains undecided, therefore, no budget has been considered to manage the asbestos if the building is demolished.

Every secondary school has a site manager and two caretakers that make up the site team.

One member of the site team, the existing caretaker is asbestos awareness trained.  The site manager and newly appointed caretaker are in the process of undertaking asbestos awareness training.

In addition to this, all staff including teaching staff have been informed of where asbestos can be found.
