Please provide the dates of States Employment Board meetings involving discussion of particulars of Chief Executive Charlie Parker’s contract of employment.

Of these, please specify those involving discussion of:

  • Any pension arrangements which differ from the States of Jersey standard.

  • Any arrangements for contract termination within a certain period.

Response

The Chief Executive’s contract was discussed at meetings of the SEB on the following dates:

  • 21 April 2017

  • 21 August 2017

  • 8 September 2017

  • 25 October 2017

  • 1 November 2017

  • 6 November 2017

  • 9 November 2017

  • 24 November 2017

Any further information is exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as per the OIC Decision Notice 2018-01.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018; and

(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
