Since the finance transformation started in July 2018:

A

How many staff at have been included in the tier 3 and 4 recruitment process? (Excluding income tax staff)

B

How many of these staff have applied for voluntary redundancy or voluntary severance?

C

How many voluntary redundancy or severance applications have been successful?

D

How many staff included in the tier 3 and 4 recruitment process have left the states of jersey?

Response

A

There were 50 employees in scope of the tiers 3 and 4 finance consultation, although a number of these have been slotted into roles and are not required to go through a recruitment process.

B and C

As at the end of February 2019, nine people in tiers 3 and 4 have applied for voluntary redundancy (VR) or voluntary severance (VS) which remain under consideration.

D

As at the end of February 2019, < 5 individuals in tiers 3 and 4 have left the States of Jersey.

Disclosure control has been applied to numbers fewer than five under Article 25 (Personal information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018; and

(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
