In February / March 2018 the department headed up by the Chief Nurse, Rose Naylor, requested an independent investigation into a breakdown into their complaint procedure as a result of an outstanding complaint made to the hospital the previous February (2017). The Clive Davis Partnership was commissioned to investigate. The report was published on the 16 April 2018.
