The current average salary for teachers is £51,414.93. If all salaries are a full time equivalent amount, the average moves to £53,688

The average Salary for Heads and Deputies is £78,166

C

There are currently 1,225 active members in the Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund. If all these members remain in the scheme until they become eligible to receive a pension then all of them will receive a final salary pension

D

In common with all public sector employees, teachers have access to a sick pay scheme, continuous professional development as required, and access to special offers that may be available to all employees from time to time.
