St Lawrence consultation about speed limits (FOI)

St Lawrence consultation about speed limits (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 17 September 2019.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

Earlier this year I took part in a consultation for St Lawrence speed limits. Could I see a copy of the results of this consultation?

I would also like to see any decisions taken as a result of this consultation.

Will these proposed speed limits be implemented?

Response

The information you have requested is partially exempt under Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as the consultation results are already accessible to you on www.gov.je within the previous Freedom of Information response linked below:

St Lawrence speed limit consultation (FOI)

The results of the speed limit consultation are currently being reviewed by the Parish of St Lawrence. No decisions will be taken before a joint meeting is held with the Growth Housing and Environment department. This meeting is due to take place in October 2019 and any decisions will be made at this stage as to whether any changes to the speed limit should be recommended to the Parish Assembly.

If applicable, the Parish Assembly will request a decision from the Minister for Infrastructure regarding whether the proposed changes can be implemented. The Parish Assembly notices and Ministerial Decisions will be in the public domain as they are published on www.gov.je. See the following links:
