Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please advise the total number of occasions a motorist was asked to show evidence of vehicle ownership, their car tax, driving licence or car insurance during the period 1 Jan 2014 to 31 Dec 2014.​

Jersey does not operate a road tax system however police officers can issue a form to motorists, similar to the UK HORT/1, requesting production of driving licence, insurance and registration documents. This is known locally as an ‘RT/1’ form.
